Finishing the New, beginning the Old is not typically what we say at the end of a year. But it is appropriate for Westminster Reads. We read the entire New Testament over the past year (2012). We will keep the posts of 2012 published on the blog so that people who want to read the New Testament in a year may have this resource. Of course the dates will change every year, but since each year has 52 weeks, we’re sure you can adjust your reading accordingly.
If you read all or some of the New Testament with us this year, we would love to hear from you about your experience. Please leave a comment.
In 2013 Westminster Reads will read Torah, the first five books of the Bible. Next week we will post an article on Torah to help you become oriented. Torah contains some of the most familiar stories of the Hebrew Bible but there is much more to read too. Torah also contains “The Law”, which Christians seldom read. But there is more interesting material contained within the Law than you might imagine.
So we hope you will continue to join us as Westminster Reads- Torah.
